About Us
Guildford Park Church (GPC) is a group of local Christians who have found the Christian faith relevant for today
We are a Bible based church which stands for the historic Christian faith and believes in the power of the living Lord Jesus to bless people's lives today.
We meet together each Sunday and have a range of other activities mid-week.
What We Believe
God- the one true and living God - three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
Bible- God's truth for today
Creation- God made a perfect world - humanity is God's finest creation
Sin- the world has rebelled against God - it is under God's just punishment
Salvation- people are unable to save themselves - only God can save them
Jesus- is both God and man - He died on the cross to forgive sin - rose again and is now in Heaven
Holy Spirit- makes the work of Jesus real in the lives of God's people
Becoming a Christian- people need to turn from their sins - trust in Jesus for dying for them - and try to live in the way God wants us to live
Future- Jesus is coming again - Jesus will be the judge of all people
